Challenge
How might connected technologies transform everyday household appliances and the experience of cooking, cooling and washing?
Across several collaborative projects, Siemens and BSH explored how established product categories could evolve for the digital age—while remaining intuitive, relevant and meaningful in people’s everyday lives.
Result
As Design Lead at IXDS, I led multidisciplinary teams of designers, engineers and developers in close collaboration with BSH. I directed projects across physical product design, digital interfaces and interactive prototypes—from early concepts and user validation through to implementation support.
The work helped translate emerging technologies into tangible product and interaction concepts for international markets. Alongside near-term product development, I also supported future-facing design initiatives exploring new interfaces, connected services and broader product ecosystems.
