1:1 Model Making
Challenge
In 2005, we asked ourselves the question of what an iconic vehicle that is as minimalist as possible could look like. A truly pure vehicle and provocative statement implemented as a 1:1 model.
Result
The result of one year of teamwork is a design vision, a minimalist vehicle and pure driving machine- reduced to the essence. The 276 is consisting of a folded metal structure, which is only partially covered by two fibreglass elements. These elements not only accommodate the (at that time) innovative LED lighting, but are also painted in a self-luminous color that glows in the dark. Cool, isn't it?
In 2006, it was presented at the AMI motorshow in Leipzig. Afterwards, it was exhibited in the musuem Prototyp in Hamburg. Currently, it’s exhibited in the Museum Industriekultur, Nuremberg.
